Alice “Ma” Thompson Owen, age 69 of the Union Hill Community in Clay County, TN passed away early Tuesday morning, November 17, 2020 at Monroe County Medical Center.  Alice “Ma” Owen is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Alice “Ma” Thompson Owen will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Tom Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Galen Cemetery in Lafayette.

Visitation with the family will begin Thursday 10 a.m. until her service time at 2 p.m.

The family respectfully asks that anyone attending the visitation or the funeral service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Family requests memorials be made to assist the family with funeral expenses. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

She is survived by: Husband, Dennis Owen of the Union Hill Community; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Crystal & Kevin Purnell of Lebanon; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Claudie & Samantha Owen of Lafayette; Grandchildren, Nicholas Owen, Karson Owen, Audrey Moore, Aiden Moore, Joze Lindquist, and Colton Lindquist, Sisters, Betty King of Lafayette; Shirley & Jimmy Kelley of Westmoreland, Brother, Jerry & Elizabeth Thompson of Spring City.
