Betty Jo Smith

Betty Jo Tuck Smith, age 77, of the Sycamore Valley Community in Macon County, TN, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013 at her residence.  Funeral services for Betty Jo Smith will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dewayne Gregory officiating.  Interment will follow in the Will Gregory Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by: Husband, Bobby H. Smith; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Vicky & Jackie Thomas, Kathy & Mike Thompson all of Russell Hill; Brother-in-law, Douglas Gregory of the Coleytown Community; Granddaughter, Michaela Thompson, of Russell Hill; Step-granddaughter, Tabitha (Carl) York of Ashland City, Step-great-grandchildren, Kayla, Mitchell and Carson York, all of Ashland City; Nephew, Elder Dewayne (Tina) Gregory, Niece, Lisa “Sis” (John) Smith, all of  Sycamore Valley; Great nieces, Jessica (Dustin) Russell, Jamie Gregory, Leigh Ann Smith; Great-Nephew, Johnathon Smith; Great-Great-nephews, Camden, Cason and Baby Russell-to-be.

Family requests memorial donations be made to the Will Gregory Cemetery.  You may make these by calling or coming by the funeral home.
