Billy James Hudson, age 80 of the Kempville Community in Smith County, TN passed away Thursday morning, September 15, 2022 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Billy is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Billy James Hudson will be conducted Sunday afternoon, September 18, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home in Kempville, TN with Jack Honeycutt and Rob Whitacre officiating. Interment will follow in the Hudson Family Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. from the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home in Kempville, TN.

He is survived by: wife, Frances Dycus Hudson of Kempville Community; daughter & son-in-law, Lana & Sean Woodcock; grandson, Landen Woodcock, granddaughter, Emma Jane Woodcock all of the Sadlers Chapel Community; sisters & brothers-in-law, Peggy Halliburton of Buffalo Community, Judy & Dennis Hackett of Gladdice Community, Lene & Tommy McKinney of Tanglewood Community, Keitha & Jim Webb of Carthage; a host of nieces & nephews.
