Charles Milton Sloan

Charles M. Sloan, age 88, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday morning, June 11th, 2018 at his sister’s residence in Lafayette.  Funeral Services for Charles M. Sloan will be conducted Wednesday, June 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder G. W. Knight officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery with Military Honors.   

Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Jenkins Cemetery or to the VFW Local Post # 7135.  These donations may be made by calling or coming by the funeral home. 

He is survived by:

Sister:  Ayune and husband Claudean Langford, of Lafayette

Brothers:  Clyde Sloan, of the Russel Hill Community in Macon County

Clynton and wife Cleopas Sloan

Sister-in-law:  Wanda Sloan

Nieces:  Regina and husband Kelly Robinson, all of Lafayette

Claudette Langford Peters, of Madison, AL

Great Nieces:  Dana and husband Heath Keller, of Lafayette
