Dean Powers

Dean Hix Powers age 77 of Red Boiling Springs, passed away Friday evening, January 13, 2017 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  Dean is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Dean Hix Powers will be conducted Monday afternoon January 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Wayne Meador and Brad Knight officiating.   Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin Sunday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday 9 a.m. until her service at 2 p.m.   

Dean’s survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Stephen & Pat Powers of Lafayette; granddaughters, Jackie White & her companion, Jeff Smith, Tiffany Halcomb & her husband, Jason all of Lafayette, Christy Knight & her husband, Brad of Smiths Grove, KY; grandson, Jason Powers & his companion, Annie Mandabach of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Cari’Lynn, Graci & Briana White, Bentley & Lincoln Halcomb, Kelsey Powers, Tianna Hawkins and Trentan Knight; sister, Anna Knight of Lafayette; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Rita Hix of Red Boiling Springs; devoted friend, Kim Kernell of Red Boiling Springs.  Arrangements by ANDERSON & SON FUNERAL HOME DIRECTORS, Red Boiling Springs, TN. 615-699-2191.     www.andersonandsonfuneralhomes.com
