Dorothy Halliburton Hollis, age 86, of Red Boiling Springs, passed away late Saturday evening, September 22, at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral Services for Dorothy Halliburton Hollis will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette, with her son-in-law, Ronnie Harrison officiating. She will be laid to rest by her late husband, James Hollis, in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
The family requests memorials be made to the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Ronnie Harrison, grandson, Garan Copas, all of Lafayette, 3 step-grandsons, Kenny and wife, Christa Harrison, Kevin and wife, Chastity Harrison, Chris and wife, Rebecca Harrison, all of Westmoreland, 6 great-grandchildren, Shelby and husband, Richard Jenkins, Lindsey and husband, Zach Graves all of Gallatin, Destiny Harrison, Jessica Beth Harrison, Wyatt Harrison, and Grant Harrison, all of Westmoreland, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Charlotte Jenkins and Ivy Jenkins, both of Gallatin, brothers, Lutrell Halliburton of Hopkinsville, KY, Bobby and wife, Carolyn Halliburton of Lafayette, sister Bonnie Stubblefield of Canton, OH, and sister-in-law, Betty Sue Halliburton of Franklin, KY.
