Mr. Doyle W. Austin, age 79 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Tuesday morning, August 6, 2024 at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN. Doyle is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Mr. Doyle W. Austin will be conducted Friday afternoon, August 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN  with Tony Russell, Mary Katherine Rooker and Chuck Jordan Officiating. Interment will follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery with Military Honors by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will begin on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Family request memorials be made to the Red Boiling Springs Heritage Museum Fund better known as Vision 20/20. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by Parents, Carlie Alvis & Gladys Olene McCormick Austin, Sisters, Lucille Biles & Flora Swoner, Brother, Douglas "Shotgun" Austin, Brother-in-law, Gene Williams.

He is survived by: Wife, Shirley Davis Austin of Red Boiling Springs; Daughter, Anjeanetta Austin of Nashville; Sister, Cathy Austin Williams of Lafayette; Exchange Student Daughter, Katja Holleufer of Denmark.
