Edgar Lee "Peaty" Haley

Edgar Lee, better known “Peaty”, Haley, age 85 of the Hillsdale Community in Macon County, TN passed away on Sunday morning, June 8th at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.   Mr. Peaty is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.

Funeral Services for Mr. Edgar Lee “Peaty” Haley will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, June 11^th at 1:00pm from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Harold Dean Linville and Joseph Brawner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Masonic Rites for Mr. Edgar Lee “Peaty” Haley will be conducted Tuesday evening, June 10^th at 6:00 pm from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with the Hillsdale Masonic Lodge #664 officiating.

Visitation with the family will begin Tuesday 1 pm until 8 pm and Wednesday 12 noon until the service at 1 pm.  Family requests that you make your memorials to the Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church or the Parkinson’s Foundation.  You may make your memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He is survived by, daughters & sons-in-law, Patricia & Jerry Lewis, Crossville, Vicki & Toney Byrn, Hillsdale Community, Lisa Haley, Lafayette, sons, Jackie Lee Haley, Crossville, Michael Lee Haley, Hillsdale Community, grandchildren, Christi Moss & husband, Bryan of Oakridge, Erica Lewis, Chattanooga, Michael Lee Haley II, Hartsville, great-grandchildren, Chesney, Michael and Bella Moss all of Oakridge.
