Edith Rader

Daisy Edith West Rader, of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, was born on Friday, April 16, 1926, in Macon County, Tn, one of seven children born to the late Leslie and Georgia Dickens West. She departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 28 Days. Ms. Edith was married to Ellis Isaac Rader, who preceded her in death on July 24, 1999. She accepted Christ as a young girl at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church. She and Ellis attended Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the Lafayette #379 Order of Eastern Star since 1982, totaling 32 Years.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Edith was preceded in death by brothers Leo West, Homer West and infant Brother, Hayden West; Sisters, Stella Barnfield, Lula Chandler and Shelby Thompson.  She is survived by, son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Tammy Rader of Cleveland, TN, daughter, Hilda Massey of Lafayette, grandchildren and their spouses, Lori and Troy Demonbreun of Brentwood, David and Ashley Rader, and Ryan Massey, all of Murfreesboro, Daniel and Michelle Rader of Athens, great-grandchildren, Rosalyn Massey, Caylie Rader, Madeline Mcgee, Chase Demonbreun and Knox Rader, sister-in-law, Eveline West, and special caregivers, Tina Carey, Melissa Chandler And Nancy Parrish.  Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Directors, Lafayette, Tn. 615-666-4011.
