Edsel Carter

Edsel Carter, age 68, of Lafayette, passed away early Tuesday morning at his residence.  Funeral services for Edsel Carter will be conducted on Thursday, May 9^th at 1:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder J. E. Shoulders and Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time.

He is survived by:  Wife, Janice Cherry Carter; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Sonja and Jackie Gregory, Andrea and Chris  Crowder; Grandchildren, Taylor, Jesse and Ragen Gregory, Myle and Maddox Crowder; Brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Debby Carter, all of Lafayette; Sister and brother-in-law, Dixie and James Driver of Indianapolis, IN; Sister-in-law, Kathy Carter of Lafayette; Nephews and nieces, Delaine (John) Guy, Steve (Lynn) Driver, all of Indianapolis, IN, Shawn (Kim) Carter, Kelly (Randy) Carnahan, Clint (Lori) Carter, Holly (Joey) Flowers, all of Lafayette; 10 great nephews and nieces.
