Elder Morris Cothron

Elder Morris Cothron, age 80 of the Pumpkin Branch Community in Trousdale County passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 21, 2023 at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN. Morris is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.

Funeral Services for Elder Morris Cothron will be conducted Friday afternoon, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Mike Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Thursday afternoon from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m., Friday morning from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 a.m.

Survivors include: Wife, Helen Spivey Cothron of the Pumpkin Branch Community, Son & Daughter-in-law, Wayland & Jennifer Cothron, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Kimberly & Bobby Taylor, Janice & Bill Scruggs all of Hartsville, Sisters-in-law, Betty Cothron of Greenbrier, Mary Cothron of Lafayette, Brother-in-law, Jimmy Spivey of Hillsdale, Grandchildren, Adam (Gena) Cothron, Grant Cothron, Clay (Neely) Cothron, Jessica Ray, Daniel Taylor, Jonas Scruggs, Jacob Scruggs, Great-grandchildren, Maverick Cothron, Marshall Cothron, & soon-to-be Graham Cothron.
