Gene Gentry, age 78 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Friday evening, January 14, 2022 at the Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette. Gene is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Gene Gentry will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, January 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Hatton Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

He is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff & Scarlett Gentry, Todd & Kenethia Gentry all of Red Boiling Springs; step-sons & step-daughters-in-law, Bobby & Penny Etheridge of Lafayette, David & Donna Etheridge of Red Boiling Springs; sisters, Shirley Ann Lyons of Lafayette, Ann Pippin of Gallatin; brother and sister-in-law, Louis & Joyce Gentry of Lafayette; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
