Irene King Roark, age 87 of the Galen Community of Macon County, TN passed away early Monday morning, September 2, 2024 at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, TN. Irene is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.

Funeral Services for Irene King Roark will be conducted Thursday morning, September 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Tom Carter, Elder Mike Carver & Elder Ken Roark officiating. Interment will follow in the Galen Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until her service at 11:00 a.m.

Family request memorials be made to Galen Cemetery or Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by, Parents, Virgil & Elsie Law King, Husband, Elder Thomas Earl Roark, Sr., Brother, Junior King & Sister, Anna Dean Carter.

Survivors include: Sons, Tommy (Susie) Roark of the Galen Community, Rick (Penny) Roark of Gallatin, Roger Roark & spouse, Pedro Tomas of Pigeon Forge, Grandchildren, Thomas “T.J.” (Buffy) Roark, Kristin (Darren) Walrond, Elder Ken (Casey) Roark, Jenna (Chad) Meador, Great-Grandchildren, Kaitlynn (Zack) Hafeli, Kason Roark, Karlee Roark, Kaydence Walrond, Wyatt Walrond, Kenley Roark, Kelsey Roark, Luke Thomas Meador, Sisters, Nina Biggers, Shirley (David) Dyer, Brother, Raybon (Judy) King, Sisters-in-law, Barbara Brooks, Joyce King all of Lafayette.
