James "Griff" Griffith, Sr.

James Griffith, better known as “Griff”, age 92, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday evening at his residence.  Funeral services for James Griffith will be conducted on Tuesday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Reverend Mark Templeton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park with the Navy presenting Military Honors. Visitation with the family will begin Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. The family requests that memorials be made to the Lafayette United Methodist Church.  You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.  

There will be a masonic Service for Mr. James on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Billy Bransford of Lafayette, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Griffith of Northfield, OH, grandchildren, Heather and husband, Titus Cecil of Lewisville, OH, Rachel Bransford of Lafayette, Adam and his wife, Kallie Griffith, Virginia Beach, VA, Michael and his wife, Kendra Bransford of Lafayette, Joe Griffith, Lewisville, OH, great-grandchild, Cameron Roberts of Lafayette, and several other great-grandchildren
