Jerry C. Butcher

Jerry C. Butcher, age 75 of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, TN passed away Saturday afternoon, November 9, 2024 at his residence. Jerry is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.

 Funeral Services for Jerry C. Butcher will be conducted Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Jeremy Yokley and Lionel Borders officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.

 Visitation will begin Monday morning from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until his service at 11:00 a.m.

 Family request memorials be made to the Eli Borders 4-H Memorial Scholarship Fund. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Micki Yokley Butcher; parents, Wilford and Georgia Gann Butcher; sisters, Marion Jones and Carolyn McPeak; brothers, Paul and Ricky Butcher; grandsons, Eli and Benjamin Borders; great-granddaughter, Chloe Gregory.

 Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Necia & Lionel Borders of Rocky Mound Community; grandchildren, Sarah Borders, Hannah (Bucky) Covington, Levi, Gabe, Zach and Jon-Luke Borders; great-grandchildren, Bentley Gregory & Kennedy Covington; sister, Sharon Haskins & husband, Gary of Rocky Mound Community; brother, Derrick Butcher of Lafayette; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Joyner & husband, Robert of Lafayette; brothers-in-law, Jerry Yokley & wife, Patty of Gamaliel, KY, Jesse Yokley of Akersville, KY, Jackie Yokley & wife, Lisa of Red Boiling Springs, Leraly Jones of Lafayette.
