Jimmy Scott, age 74 of Lafayette, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 19th, 2021 at the Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. Mr. Jimmy Scott is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Mr.  Jimmy Scott will be conducted Saturday morning, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Elder Lonnie Meador officiating.  Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by Smyrna Honor Guard.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

He is survived by: wife, Glennon Deering Scott, daughter & son-in-law, Wendy & Scott Carver, son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Lori Jones, step-daughter, Jordan & Ricky Lawing all of Lafayette; sister & brother-in-law, Frances & David Goodnow of Atlanta, GA, 7 grandchildren, Ethan Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Gabe Jones, Kristen Oldham, Leslie Thuesen, Adriana Woodard, & Riley Lawing, 3 great-grandchildren, MaLaiyah Anderson, Aubrey Gregory, & Brantley Gregory, niece & nephew, Alan & Holly Goodnow.
