Jimmy Dale Thompson, age 74 of the Hillsdale Community in Macon County, TN passed away Sunday night, March 23, 2025, at the Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN. Jimmy is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Jimmy Dale Thompson will be conducted Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Elder Rickey Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at 2:00 p.m.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Leon & Jonelle Oldham Thompson, Son, Jeff Thompson, and Brother, Jerry Thompson.

He is survived by; Wife, Donetta Green Thompson of the Hillsdale Community, Daughter-in-law, Hope Thompson, Granddaughters, Abby Thompson & Belle Thompson all of Lafayette, Sister, Debbie Jenkins Earps (Ronnie) of Hartsville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
