Edath ‘Jo’ (Vinson) Proffitt, everyone knew her as Jo, age 88 of Chapel Hill, TN and formerly of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 3, 2021 at the Celebration Way Assisted Living in Shelbyville, TN. Jo is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Graveside Services & Interment for Jo Vinson Proffitt will be conducted Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Isenburg Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY with her family officiating.

Visitation with the family at the funeral home will begin Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

She is survived by: Daughter-in-law, Cynthia Proffitt, Grandchildren, Jason & Alison Proffitt, Nathan & Mary Betleyoun, Tara & Chad Halley, Great-Grand Daughters, Kelsey Proffitt Quintanilla, Adrian Proffitt, Elaura Proffitt, Livia Proffitt-Smith, Great-Great Grands, Alex, Mason, Auriel, Oliver, not yet born, Surviving Siblings, Doyle Vinson, Dowl Vinson, Irene Vinson Denton & Many, many nieces and nephews who she loved each one dearly!
