John L. Wheeley, age 85 of Lafayette, TN passed away Tuesday evening, August 3, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. John is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for John Wheeley will be conducted Saturday afternoon, August 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Elder Chris Griffith, & Elder Jason Wheeley officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

He is survived by: His Loving & Devoted Wife, Mary Driver Wheeley of Lafayette, his Loving Daughter, Tammy Wheeley Gose, Son-in-law, George “Chip” Gose, Jr., & His Beloved Grandson, Heath Thomas Gose all of Mt. Juliet. Along with many cousins, family members, and friends.
