Karen Jo Gabol Thompson, age 59 of the Goosehorn Community in Macon County, TN passed away Friday morning, October 11, 2024 at her residence. Karen is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

The family has chosen cremation & no services are planned at this time.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Joe & Barbara (Linson) Gabol.

She is survived by: husband, Anthony Thompson of the Goosehorn Community; daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth & Gilbert Madrigal of Pearland, TX & Victoria & Ralph Garcia of Montgomery, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Alexandra Gabol of Alvin, TX; step-daughter, Heather Thompson & companion, Jason Geralds of Red Boiling Springs, TN; sisters, Hylon Kaufman of Clovis, CA, Debby Dykes of Montgomery, TX, & Barbie Garrett of Bryan, TX; 8 grandchildren.
