Mr. Kurtis Layne Butcher, age 29 of the Oakdale Community in Macon County, TN passed away Saturday morning, May 4, 2024 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Kurtis is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Mr. Kurtis Layne Butcher will be conducted Wednesday morning, May 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Todd Austin & Brother Travis Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until his service at 11:00 a.m.
Family request memorials be made to assist the family with funeral expenses. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by: paternal grandfather, Ricky Butcher & maternal grandfather, Wayne Stafford.Survivors include: wife, Carson Butcher; daughter, Raegan Butcher both of the Oakdale Community; mother and step-father, Leslie & Mitch Goolsby; father & step-mother, Craig & Ryan Butcher; sisters, Mattie Goolsby, Landra Goolsby, Ashton Butcher, & Bailey Butcher; brother, Ely Malo all of Lafayette; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Sherrill & Chuck Roddy; sister-in-law, Connor & husband, Colton Graves all of the Oakdale Community as well as several grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins.
