Lassie Violia Howser, age 99, of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, May 21st at Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services for Lassie Howser will be held on Sunday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland under the direction of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Reverend Harold King and Troy Driver officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Mound Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
She is survived by sons, Harold Howser of Lafayette and Stevie Howser of Westmoreland; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Billy Stone, Sue and Billy West, Patsy and Bill Carr, all of Lafayette, Teresa and Charles Jett of Westmoreland; sisters, Betty Heath of Gallatin, Mildred Knight of Madison; son-in-law, Larry Harper of Westmoreland; sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Howser of Westmoreland; 22 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 17 step great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren.
