Melissa Coons Garnett, age 52 of the Leonard Community in Clay County, TN passed away Saturday morning, December 12, 2020 at the Macon Community Hospital ER in Lafayette, TN.  Melissa is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Melissa Coons Garnett will be conducted Monday afternoon, December 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Hugh Wayne Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. until her service time at 1:00 p.m.

Family requests memorials be made to the Kaylee Watson’s Education Fund.  You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

She is survived by: husband, Michael Garnett; son, Cody Garnett both of the Leonard Community; daughter & son-in-law, Chelsea & Jimmy Watson of Lafayette; grandchildren, Kaylee Watson, Dameon Watson and Alexis Watson; brother, Tony Coons of Red Boiling Springs; mother-in-law, Dorothy June Garnett of Lafayette.
