Michael "Vern" Willis Wix

Michael Willis Wix, age 68, of the Siloam Community of Macon County, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.  Funeral Services for Mike “Vern” Wix will be conducted on Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Elder Dean Dyer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery, with military honors. 

Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. until service time.    

The family requests memorials in the form of donations be made to the Funeral Expenses.

He is survived by: wife, Debbie Thompson Wix of the Siloam Community, daughters, Christy Wix of Aurora, CO, Heather Benedict of Bronson, FL, Tiare Thompson of Elizabeth, NC, sons, Toy and wife, Spencer Wix of Columbia, Jared Scott of Burkesville, KY, Steven Thompson, Zak Thompson both of the Siloam Community, brother, Jack and wife, Wanda Wix, sister “Jill” Hinton, all of the Oak Dale Community, and 7 grandchildren.
