Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson, age 56, of the Russell Hill Community in Macon County, passed away Saturday night, September 20, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  Funeral services for Mike Thompson will be held on Wednesday, September 24^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Anderson and Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dewayne Gregory officiating.  Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM on Wednesday.

He is survived by: Wife, Kathy Smith Thompson, Daughter, Michaela LeeAnn Thompson, both of Russell Hill; Mother, Ruby Brooks Thompson of Lafayette; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Daryl Patterson of Hendersonville, Sandra and Michael Janes of Hollow Rock; Brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Chasity Thompson of Red Boiling Springs; Sister-in-law, Vicky and Jackie Thomas of Russell Hill; Father-in- law, Bobby H. Smith of Cookeville; Nieces, Rhonda and David Carson of Gallatin, Carrie and Brian Marlin of Hendersonville, Christy Patterson and Todd Mohl of Old Hickory Sabrina and Jason Gregory, and Breanna Thompson, both of Red Boiling Springs; Great-nephews, Tanner and Taylor Carson, Maddox and McKane Marlin.
