Mildred Mazell Copas

Mildred Bilbrey Copas, age 89 of the Mt. Vernon Community in Clay County, TN passed away Monday morning, June 25, 2018 at the Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, TN.  Mildred is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Mildred Bilbrey Copas will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, June 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with E.C. Meadows officiating.  Interment will follow in the Leonard Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin Tuesday afternoon 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. until her service at 1 p.m.  Family requests memorial be made to the Leonard Cemetery.  You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home. 

Survivors include: son, Dr. Pleas Reed Copas, Jr. and wife, Sheila of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Dianna Gann and husband, Terry of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Veda Hix and husband, Gary of the Mt. Vernon Community; Grandchildren, Scarlett Gentry and husband, Jeff of the Mt. Vernon Community, Dr. Don Asberry of Bluff City, TN, Tiffany Bearfield and husband, Brian of Simpsonville, SC, Steffany Copas of Corryton, TN, Mary Elizabeth Cherry and husband, Randy of the Mt. Vernon Community; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dean Ferguson and husband, Ralph of Lafayette, TN, Nina Kirby of Red Boiling Springs, TN; brothers, Grady Bilbrey and wife, Evelyn of the Mt.
