Ray Dean West, age 73 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Wednesday evening, October 5, 2022 at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN. Ray is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Ray Dean West will be conducted Friday afternoon, October 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother John Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Hermitage Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.

He is survived by: wife, Shirley Copas West of Hermitage Springs Community; sisters, Christine Goad of Russell Hill Community, Merline Alred of Ashland City, Mildred Ray of Joelton, Belle Brittian of Nashville; brother, Danny West of Pleasant View; sisters-in-law, Naomi West of Red Boiling Springs, Thelma Jean Bartley and Reba Copas both of Hermitage Springs Community; brother-in-law, Tony Dale Copas of Hermitage Springs Community, Ronald Lee Copas of Mt. Juliet.
