Robert "Tom" Dawes

Robert “Tom” Dawes, age 79, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday evening,  July 16^th at his residence.  Funeral Services for “Tom” Dawes will be conducted on Tuesday, July 19th, at 3:00 p.m. from the Anderson and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Chaplin Cody Case officiating.  Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. 

The family will receive friends Monday, July 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.  The family request memorials be made to the funeral expense fund.  You may make these donations by calling or coming by the funeral home. 

He is survived by:

Wife: Charlotte Guinn Dawes, daughter & son-in-law, Donna and Pat Griffith, son, Steve “Guy” Dawes, all of Lafayette, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Margaret Dawes of New York, step-son and wife, Barry and Jeannie Frasier of West Virginia, step-daughter and spouse, Belisza and Michael Veatch of Lafayette, grandchildren, John Griffith, Melody Griffith, Heather Mejia, Candace Dawes, Lacia Dawes, Alex Frasier, Connor Frasier, and Sarah Veatch, mother-in-law, Ruby Guinn of Lafayette, sisters-in-law, Josephine Alexander of Lafayette, Betty Dawes of Indianna, sisters-in-law and spouses, Carolyn and Tommy Napier and Jean and Bobby Brooks, all of Lafayette.
