Sammie T. Atkins, age 85 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday morning, December 3, 2020 at the Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette, TN.  Sammie is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Sammie T. Atkins will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Tim White officiating.  Interment will follow in the Whitley Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. and continue until his service time Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by: wife, Louise Pryor Atkins; daughters & sons-in-law, Becky & Chris Hix, Brenda Atkins, Linda & Paul Whited, Patsy & Harold Givens; sons & daughters-in-law, Sammy Joe Atkins, Jerry & Tammy Atkins, Gary Joe & Evie York, Jewell Ray York; step-daughters, Shirley Creek & her husband, Joe Dale, Vicky Adams and her husband, James, Kathy Clark; step-son, Terry Crowder; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
