Shirley Jean Givens

Shirley Jean Givens, age 74, a native of the Wartrace Community in Jackson County, passed away Thursday morning, February 13, 2014 at her residence in Murfreesboro. Graveside services for Shirley Givens will be conducted at the Draper Cemetery in the Wartrace Community of Jackson County on Friday, February 14th at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation.

She is survived by: Daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and John Mitchell of Murfreesboro; Stepson, Mike Givens of Hermitage; Stepdaughters, Elaine Dodson of Mt. Juliet, Brenda  Heatherly of Phoenix, AZ; Sisters, Betty Rich of Lebanon, Jo Elle Ray of Bonham, TX; Grandchildren, Marley, Carson and Riley Mitchell.

She was preceded in death locally by a sister, Mrs. Avery (Marie) Huffines of the Wartrace Community.
