Mr. Wayne Hix, age 59 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday morning, August 22, 2024 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Wayne is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Graveside Services & Interment for Wayne Hix will be conducted Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Clark Cemetery with Hugh Wayne Clark officiating.

Visitation will begin at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs on Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

He was preceded in death by: parents, George & Ruthie (Richardson) Hix & sister, Diane Hix.

Survivors include: companion, Betty Shirley of Red Boiling Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Bethany Shirley; grandson, Levi Shirley all of Pleasant Shade; sister and brother-in-law, Vicky & Jeff Ellis of Gainesboro; brothers and sister-in-law, Donnie Hix of Red Boiling Springs, Lonnie & Lavonda Hix, Tony “Barney” Hix all of the Goosehorn Community, Timmy “Red Eye” Hix of Seaside, Oregon & a host of nieces and nephews.
